Although this article is older, it's a great introduction into short stories for those who know nothing about them. As someone who loves short stories, it was also just an amazing read to increase knowledge around short stories.

Lots of us short story writers only read short stories themselves, and fail to venture out into more "boring" lands of articles. This is a good starting place to increase interest in informative articles.
